It's all coming together for my event on July 4th - I've ridden the course a couple of times and have made slight changes to the original checkpoint placements, but I'm pleased to report that it'll be about 80% off road, quite possibly more. Unsurprisingly after the recent dry spell the tracks are in excellent condition so it should be a fast event.
We'll have cakes/hot drinks etc at the event centre and I've also got hold of some prizes from Torq - format will be similar to Nick's event in the Chilterns, all finishers will go into the hat so everyone present when the draw is made is in with a chance. There will also be "golden ticket" spot prizes out on the course.
Although not a series event this will provide a great "between series" training ride and for those not familiar with the area... well it is in the Autumn series (map for that is going to be different) so worth a recce ride - hope to see you there!

| Sid, as I can't do your event and you sent me the course to cast my eye over, I'd like to confirm this is going to be a corker. I've plotted a few possible routes and can't believe the amount of off road and am really disappointed that I can't make it. I hope it all goes well and look forward to the autumn event. |
